Privacy policy

Mzansi2171 collects the minimum information needed to run the service.

Accounts

If you register we store your name, e-mail address, a one-way hash of your password, your favourites and your viewing history. You can clear your history at any time from your account page.

Analytics

We count page views, searches and video plays. With your consent, a random first-party cookie lets us count unique visitors and limit how often ads are shown. We do not store IP addresses with analytics events and do not sell personal information.

If you like or dislike a video without signing in, we set a random cookie that only remembers your vote, so you can change it later and votes can be counted once per browser. We store a one-way hash of it, not the cookie itself. Signed-in votes are linked to your account.

Advertising

Some pages show advertising. Third-party ad networks may use their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Third-party content

Videos are supplied by external providers and may be played through their own players, which have their own privacy policies.
